What's More Likely: Raiders, Eagles, Lions

Chris Brockman ran Rich through a What's More Likely buffet covering the Raiders QB room, fantasy football drafts, a Final Four forecast, NBA MVP debates, and Eddie Murphy's birthday.

First up: who throws more touchdowns for the Raiders in 2026, Kirk Cousins or Fernando Mendoza? Rich went Cousins out of the gate. Brockman pushed back, the No. 1 overall pick has his jersey selling, billboards up across Vegas, and ABBA's "Fernando" queued up. Mendoza has to start.

On George Pickens versus AJ Brown for receiving yards and touchdowns in 2026, Rich locked in Pickens. The conversation spiraled through a Moody Blues reference and whether "Nights in White Satin" is actually theirs. (It is.)

On the disappointing 2025 teams, Chiefs or Lions to win their division, Rich went Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes looked great on the offseason throwing video, and the Lions getting salty under Dan Campbell can only take them so far.

Fantasy football: Bijan Robinson or Jahmyr Gibbs as the first overall pick? Rich went Gibbs, citing usage. The Final Four section had Rich torn, women's side he wouldn't count out Dawn Staley, but UConn looks like a wagon. Men's side, he picked the No. 1 seed winning over Houston or Duke getting cut down on either side.

NBA MVP spot was where it got fun. SGA, Jokic, Wemby, Luka, or Jaylen Brown, Rich tried to make the case for Luka but fell back on the games-played rule he thinks was designed around teams tanking. The rant stretched into a critique of load management and a riff about playing pickup ball in Foot Locker pants with shorts underneath.

Lastly, Eddie Murphy's 65th birthday. Rich's favorite character: Axel Foley, then Billy Ray Valentine, then Prince Akeem, then Donkey. TJ went with Billy Ray because Trading Places is his favorite movie.
