What's More Likely: Draft and Masters Week

What's More Likely rolled through the NFL Draft, the NBA play-in, the Masters, and a Game of Thrones detour, with Rich handing down takes on everything from Deebo Samuel's trade value to whether Hodor could anchor an offensive line.

On the AJ Brown versus Deebo Samuel question, Rich went with Brown as more likely to be moved. The math is simple: Deebo is younger, cheaper, and his agent can reframe the conversation around all-purpose yards and touch percentage rather than a traditional receiver position. Brown carries the bigger contract and the bigger age number.

The Jeremiah Love vs. Sunny Styles debate generated some real heat. Rich took Styles as the first of the two off the board, specifically citing the resistance to taking a running back that high. Possible landing spots he floated: Tennessee, Cleveland if they move Myles Garrett, or the Giants at five.

On the next QB off the board after the first wave, Rich went with Ty Simpson over a second running back. He gave a nod to Jeremiah Love's Notre Dame teammate Jadarian Price but didn't think a second running back would clear Simpson's ceiling.

The Cardinals QB1 conversation turned into real news. Daniel Jeremiah tweeted that Ty Simpson to Arizona feels inevitable, but Rich still went with Jacoby Brissett as the most likely Week 1 starter. The logic: Brissett wants to be there, he just wants to be paid like a starter, not a backup, if he's going to start 18 games.

The uniform question split the room. Rams or Ravens, who wins more games. Rich went Rams, pushing back on the Ravens hype while still acknowledging what Justin Madubuike and Lamar Jackson bring. He leaned on the tougher division frame.

On first-round trades versus Mike Trout home runs at Yankee Stadium this week, Rich had Trout with the over. He pegged first-round draft trades at three overall, a notably lower number than the six-trade benchmark floating around.

The TJ-is-not-here segment lingered on whether TJ would ever tap out on the Cowboys, Mets, or Clippers. Rich's position was firm: TJ doesn't tap out on anyone, ever. The Dodger jersey under the desk was entered into evidence.

The closer was the Game of Thrones draft. Rich's pick at number one: Hodor. The reasoning was uncut, he needs offensive line help, and nobody is blocking Hodor. Trap plays, interior dominance, full positional flexibility. Jon Snow got the Fernando Mendoza comp. The Night King got docked for not playing in a dome.

The bit landed exactly where it needed to, silly on the surface, but the draft analogies actually held up.
