Rich mocks the first round of the actual NFL draft every spring in power rankings form. This is the fantasy version, full point PPR, counted down from ten, and it comes with an invitation.
Come at me. Though if you come at him on X, he will not see it. Threads, maybe.
**10. CeeDee Lamb.** A nice value if he falls to you there. Rich has him this low for one reason, which is that he does not know how many catches George Pickens takes.
**9. Amon-Ra St. Brown.** Jameson Williams will take some targets, but Rich does not think it is as many. St. Brown out of the slot is the guy who is already gone before the coverage arrives.
**8. De'Von Achane.** Rich considered going higher after Jeff Hafley came on the show and said he does not want to see Achane tap his helmet all year, floating 40 to 45 touches a game. That is not a real number, but the coach said it out loud, and Rich is taking him at his word that this man gets fed. Hafley said he would help carry Achane off the field himself.
**7. Jaxon Smith-Njigba.** Taken out of respect, with a caveat. Rich wants to see the follow-up to an offensive player of the year season, and there is a new offensive coordinator, so nobody knows what this looks like. The Hard Knocks evidence says he is the same guy, possibly better.
**6. Christian McCaffrey.** Also out of respect, and also with a flinch. "The tightness concerns me," Rich said, and the reminder that it was called load management did not help. There is a load, there is management, there is tightness, and this is his fantasy team.
**5. Jonathan Taylor.** The bump comes with a real argument. Rich knows McCaffrey is a thousand-thousand lock. He also thinks Taylor could get to 2,000, with weeks of three touchdowns and a hundred yards attached.
**4. Puka Nacua.** Puka is still Puka, king of the ten-catch, 142-yard touchdown day. The desk added the strategic case for a West Coast player, which is getting your points late at night when the other guy has nothing left to answer with.
**3. Ja'Marr Chase.** Still the first receiver off the board. He has said he does not care about yards and wants the touchdown record, which means he is coming for Randy Moss. He also has a quarterback whose hat says there is no tomorrow.
**2. Bijan Robinson.** Rich expects the preseason to push him here, because Atlanta has looked like hot garbage. He wants to be clear this is not a knock on the player. Robinson is all-world, all-pro, all-purpose, and you let him fall to two at your own peril.
**1. Jahmyr Gibbs.** It is Gibbs' world and the rest of us are paying rent. Both backs got paid, but Jared Goff runs an offense a good deal better than whatever Atlanta is about to run, and Rich would be stunned if either man failed to reach 2,500 total yards and 20 touchdowns.
The one name conspicuously missing is Justin Jefferson, which Chris flagged against Field Yates' top 150.
Jefferson, Rich figures, is sitting somewhere reading these lists and deciding to take the whole thing over.
